White Spot located in Kitsilano on Broadway. With over 60 locations in British Columbia and Alberta, White Spot has been serving unique, freshly prepared dishes in a contemporary, casual atmosphere for over 75 years.
Brought mother here yesterday for Mother's day....we came by at around 7:30 in order to avoid Mothers Day rush, but turns out as our waiter told us later, that it wasn't busy this year due to the nice weather, and that people opted to have a BBQ at thier house for thier mothers......but anyhow
We were seated right away, Mom had ordered the mushroom burgers, fries and to drink she had decided to get a coke. I got the double double burger, fries and cranberry soda to drink. Our food came about 10 minutes later.....Oh my goodness, honestly, this place has one of the best burgers, and I felt like "Wow, this food is fantastic" Mom enjoyed her food as well. I of course have been to White Spot many times, but keep forgetting how good it actually is and always end up at Red Robin....
Anyhow, I think I will be visiting White Spot alot more often, as they have fantastiic food, and it was a great Mothers day
I thought I would give this location a try but more or less the results were the same. My girlfriend and I came here on a sunny day a few months back and I drove out of my way to try this place out.
It was busy, and we had to wait a good 15 minutes for a booth. In hindsight, being a hot day we should've just taken seat outside on the patio, as it was sparcely occupied.
We quickly ordered a couple of thirst quenching sodas before ordering: my girlfriend the Monty Burger while I ordered the Hot Chargrilled Chicken Caesar with Calamari. My girlfriend's patty was overdone and was heavy on the sauce, though juicy. The fries were pretty decent since they are usually awful at every location and usually taste (and look) like they've been sitting for a while. Either our server or the kitchen staff forgot the main part of my salad, the chargrilled chicken. It was fine otherwise.
Our server did about the minimum acceptable service, typical of most WS locations. Had it not been for another server coming by to check up on us I would be somewhat inclined to rate the service lower. An issue either on the HR end, the training protocol, the servers themselves or a combination.
Nice, warm decor. Fitting for what a Whitespot should be.
Lukewarm all around. Think I'll continue looking for a better location.
Haven't been disappointed yet, and I've been to a number of White Spots in Greater Vancouver. I love the CBC, which is the only thing I'll actually eat. But if it's really good, why screw up a good thing? This White Spot seems to get my order just the way I like it. I've taken my friends to this location, even though they aren't fans of White Spot, and they seem to like it as well.
go and try their milkshakes!!! they r made of real ice cream and ask for extra thick at no extra charge!!
i had tried milkshakes at other triple o's, but none match this location
i was told that during summer time they will have more favours of ice creams and they can make shakes on all of them
their grilled chicken is the best i have tried so far

I found this White Spot to have the most friendly staff of any.
We were greeted warmly by a hostess with a smile and really warm sparkly personality. Good quick service and prompt refills.
The food was good as always.
The decor okay, just usual White Spot nothing to write home about.
