Waves Coffee House serves drip coffee, espresso based coffee drinks, tea and other beverages as well as light snacks. Waves offers free Wi-Fi in their cafes.
I was downtown with my daughter and we both felt like a sweet treat.
I checked out the Waves on the concourse of the Stadium/Chinatown skytrain station. My daughter choose a pecan fudgy hunk of decadent goodness priced at $3.50. I decided to buy one for myself too. I didn't have a place on the stroller to put a coffee - so I settled for a San Pelligrino soft drink and my daughter wanted a Happy Planet drink. Bill came to about $14 (which is what I would pay for a steaming bowl of Pho adn a Vietnamese sub - so the value is iffy for my taste).
However - the treat WAS quite good. I found it better value than Starbucks. It is pretty decadent, so I would share one piece with my daughter in the future (and we would still have a little left over).
I would pick up this particular dessert if I wanted a sweet treat and was sharing or wanted to save some for later.
I"ll try their coffee next time.
