Came here for a meeting late morning after being told that they have light pastries, paninis etc in the day time.
I got there around 1030am and it was empty and dark. I told the bartender that there would be 4 total and he told me to sit wherever. I did. The 'light menu' that I was given had things like croissants, biscotti that type of thing, a pasta and 2 or 3 paninis. Since nothing jumped out I had a cap and a croissant. The coffee was good, they're brewing 49th Parallel whihc is lovely. We actually all weren't to impressed and so we all had a crossiant. Anyways, meh, it was okay, the pastry was super small probably the size of 2 tibits put together, I was expecing the big kind. No butter or creamcheese or jam or whatever people but on crossants was offered. No big deal but some cared more than others. We stayed for about 45 mins as we went and our waters were topped off by the bartender and were the only patrons the whole time. I won't be coming back for the coffee or the pastris.... dinner whole other story. They should stick to dinner.

Went here last night for a post-symphony cocktail. It's a very hip little joint, beautifully decorated, and a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail. I found the room to be a bit loud.

Drinks list is, as expected, huge. They list mostly classic cocktails and a fantastic variety of spirits, wines by the glass, port, aperatifs and digestifs. I had the French 75 and my partner had a Sidecar. Both were good and strong and very well-made. Service was friendly and attentive.

Prices are about on par with downtown, maybe a touch on the high side. I wouldn't really go beyond one or two drinks.

Food menu is small, mostly nibbles to accompany the drink list.

Lovely place - recommended.

Went here for some desert wines last night and was sadly disappointed when the bartender placed someone else's order in front of me. After checking up on me and finding out that it was not my order, he went to get my wine, only to return with bad news: It was out!

As I was with a friend who recommended this place, I tried another wine which was ok and just enjoyed the decor. Loved the funky light fixtures, the mirrors.

I did not try the food here but had to choose something in order to post.

Not sure if I'll go back..
