Authentic Japanese food with some new age flair.
This place has the best sushi ever. The chefs/owners are Japanese, and one of them used to work at Tojo's, so the quality of the food is there, but at a more affordable price. This also means that the chefs are preparing the raw fish and sushi properly. I always order the Ume Tray, which is an incredible deal for $20, plus a few more sushi rolls, such as the one called, "Peppered Tuna". The tray has a great assortment of sushi to try, such as cali rolls, tuna. salmon, spicy tuna, spicy salmon rolls and a whole lot more. The consistency of the rice is a perfect al dente, and they do not contain a disgusting amount of rice that one can find at Sushi King or Samurai. The "Peppered Tuna" roll is so tasty, its a seared piece of tuna, with black pepper, and when you bite into in, all the flavours blend well together, All the employees that work here are really nice and friendly, and they speak English really well, and so ordering here is not a problem. I do encourage to order ahead, as this place tends to get busy.

A tiny gem of a restaurant but not in any way a hole-in-the-wall this place is decorated with class, restraint and a touch of whimsy.
Service was fast, polite and low key which is how I prefer it.
Food was the best part-exquisitely prepared from delicious quality ingredients-the best Inari I've had in years.
Now if you know Japanese food you know that Inari-just a Tofu skin wrap around a rice ball-is quite ordinary fare, but in the hands of the Itamae @ TT it was elevated into a delightful treat.
Yam tempura is a stack of rounds on a vertical skewer with some unique dipping sauces and the Tamago was fresh and delightful.
Too bad I had fish for dinner otherwise I would have tried some of the fresh fish-next time for sure.
