I was really excited to try a new Thai restaurant in the neighbourhood, so we ordered take out from Thai Star tonight. The delivery time was super speedy, but I didn't find the food very good. We ordered spring rolls, which were ok; chicken with basil which was ok, but you'd be hard pressed to find any basil; and green curry chicken, which was mostly just spicy and sweet and lacking the usual flavour of a green curry. Serving sizes were generous, with lots of meat, and the price was reasonable, but I just found flavour lacking in the dishes.

Being big fans of Thai food were were quite looking forward to trying out this new restaurant. We were very impressed by the fresh tasty meals we received!

I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely local eatery, you won't be disappointed! In the three years since we have lived here four restaurants have set up shop in this unfortunate spot between the popular cafe Zen and our ugly ally way, I think these guys are proving something unique, high quality to this foodie corner of kits. We wish them every success with this great restaurant :-)
