Terra serves traditional artisan breads baked in stone hearth ovens. This location is situated in the shopping area of West 4th Avenue.
Terra Breads produces some of the best bread in the Vancouver area; the only bad thing is that there are limited places to purchase it. But the real pleasure of visiting a Terra Breads shop is the selection of outstanding baked goods. My favorite item is the roasted red pepper + spinach with asiago cheese focaccia. They need a bakery in North Vancouver.
Hands down - there is simply no comparison - this is my favourite cafe - awesome sandwiches, the best bread in the city, great coffee, and amazing pastries.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough - and I travel far and wide for great coffee and great food. Terra Breads fits the bill. It is a bit of distance from where I live, so I am doubly glad that their awesome breads are now widely available. I wish they would open a store on the North Shore.
