I love this place! If you are looking to get sushi on the drive, this is the place to go!
They are incredibly nice, enthusiastic, and fun. The owner is outgoing, always makes me smile and is really fast no matter how busy it is. This place has the best service I've ever received, which is why I always go back. It a family business, sometimes his daughter severs and she is very sweet.
The food is amazing! Always tastes fresh, and gets to your table fast! You never have to wait for long. The chef is really friendly, they all yell "thank you!" as you're leaving. My favorite roll is #85- yam tempura wrapped with avocado. My two favorites in one, absolute heaven. Their ginger is really ginger, and not dyed a weird pink colour. My tea cup is always full. And if I drop my chop sticks, they've already brought me a new pair before I even start to pick the other one up.
This is the best sushi I've had in ages, and you won't believe how much you get for what you pay. The portion sizes are simply enormous (beware! you can share the gomae and dishes that are normally for 1 person). Service was great and the sushi was EXCELLENT. You must try this place because compared to the many average sushi restaurants in Vancouver, this place really deserves more business! Excellent menu - some really different maki as well as the usual favourites. And the tuna tataki is to die for. Enjoy!
This great little restaurant has a broad menu and unbelievable prices. We had their bento box special before 5pm and it was 5.95 with enough food for two meals. Their unaten roll (california roll wrapped with unagi and avocado for 4.95) is a little piece of heaven. The sushi chef is a lovely guy, willing to accommodate my request that he cut the huge roll into smaller slices, the owner is very enthusiastic and the food is tasty. It's definitely going to be one of our regular dining spots.
