No mystery here - I simply detest Starbuck's coffee and almost everything about the giant corporation. Ok, in a pinch, I have been known to grab a java (for my fix, certainly not for the taste). Why does their coffee leave such a horrid and bitter after-taste. And I simply detest their stores - all of them - with its same design, dark woods, coldness everywhere - it feels like a giant corporate chain (because it is) no matter how much they try to be 'neighbourly'. With all the money at their disposal surely they can do better - much better.
On the other hand they do play great music - jazz and coffee go so well together.
