This location is a beautiful store - large, nicely done up and looks like it should be inviting.
However, the staff is awful. I was in recently and watched a new hire struggling to remember how to make the coffee I ordered and when she asked her co-worker, the co-worker's response was "I told you how to do that yesterday."
Nice to know that humiliating employees in front of customers is now part of the service.
I would never go back to this location. Staff are generally rude, the more experienced staff clearly feel resentful at having to train new employees or do anything resembling work - as was evident when the same woman who finally was able to put my order together was informed she had to do all the cleaning up - and not one of the other employees lifted a finger to help her.
I was (and am) completely disgusted with the behaviour of the staff here.
Customer service and basic human decency is clearly not a priority here.
I come to this Starbucks at minimum 5 days out of 7 and am always greeted by my name with a smile! I have found the staff to be very friendly - remembering the drinks I usually order and asking about the details I have shared with them. They have become like family to my husband and I and our friends who regularly schedule meetings there because we know the service will be outstanding and the employees are friendly and welcoming to everyone! I recommend giving this location a try - I believe you will be pleased!
i come here several times a week to get my coffee (and/or bagel) (and/or rice krispie square) fix and not only do the baristas know my name but they have my super-complicated drink memorized too, often making it before i've even ordered! it's great to be acknowledged with a smile or wave and it's also nice to have a little chit chat with whomever is on bar.
