Second chance?

Ok, I feel bad. I don't like giving bad reviews unless it's traumatic. I didn't rate their food "poor" is because I'm not sure if it's just me or the food is really that poor.
The thing about me is that I love trying new restaurants. Out of all my friends, I'm the brave one. I will try new places even when there are NO customers inside.
I'm always in Tinseltown (International Village Mall) and one day I discovered that there is a new restaurant! I'm usually by myself when I'm in the area so I don't normally eat at restaurants. I didn't think much about this restaurant until I saw a coupon for this place for $20 (you get $40 worth of food). I was tempted to buy but then I thought, there is no way for me to order $40 worth of food to feed myself. I didn't buy it. I guess it was a good decision.
I was checking out their website and they seemed decent. The prices are reasonable and they serve pasta. Me love pasta. They are an Italien restaurant.
One day, just recently, I finally caved in and decided to try this place out for dinner. I was curious. They had good reviews on Yelp.ca according to the coupon website. But when I go to Yelp.ca website directly, the reviews I read were not there. Uh oh. So anyways, I was craving for pasta with cream sauce. Nothing can go wrong w/ cream sauce, c'mon! It's practically fool-proof food! When I got there, there was NO one. It was around 6pm on a weeknight. I was greeted immediately and the service was good. I was starving so I was ready to chomp up the dish. When the dish arrived, it came in a huge plate with shrimp, fish and baby clams. I took a big bite and almost choked. The sauce was very tangy. I thought I was hallucinating. I was in denial for awhile and was trying to figure out why it tasted like that. It was quite strong but there was no bad smell. I was thinking, maybe it's the cheese or pesto or white wine? I don't know but it was almost unbearable. I was afraid to complain. I actually don't normally say anything when the food is bad even though I know I should. I wasn't sure if the cream sauce has gone bad or maybe I'm not used to "authentic Italien" food? I'm still in denial right now. I didn't get diarrhea at least.
I might give this place another chance.

I dont really like trying new places, but since I eat in the Malls food court everyday, i thought I should try this with my husband some day.

We went there on a friday any it was busy. They had live music which made it a very romantic atmosphere for a date. I ordered the Salmon and my husband ordered the calamari and the steak.

Although they were busy, the servers were quick to offer us a refill on our drinks. The food came and it was delicious. I was supprised they had such a great restaurant inside tinsletown mall!

I would highly recommend this place. Try it once, i bet you will go back! (we have).
