Located in the Blue Horizons Hotel, this pub has a large patio overlooking the bustle on Robson Street.
I've been here a few times to meet friends. The decor is 80's kitch, which can be a good thing if you're into that but unfortunately the rest is terrible. The burger I had on my last (and likely final) visit was dry and the bun was stale. The fries were marginal. The draft beer at this place is a horror show. Guaranteed hangover. Service is slow and staff really couldn't care less. On the plus side there's a broad range of characters that walk into this place so the people watching is entertaining. My best advice is if you decide to check out this dive then buy bottled beer and steer clear of the food and the draft.
I've been here a couple times to watch PPV games and its ok. The food is your typical pub food. I usually don't get creative and will just order a burger which are pretty decent. There are lots of flat screen televisions on all the walls but the sound isn't very good and unfortunately, all of the TVs (at least in my section) weren't HD. They usually have pint and pitcher beer specials which will add up to some pretty cheap beer. All in all, the price is right but they need to fix the sound and consider getting HD.
