Semiramis is just the right place for a quality and quick meal where you can see how your food is cooked, but don’t expect it to be a westernized food fare. “People mostly do not know the richness of either the culture or food of Lebanon. Shawarma originates in Lebanon (Shah Ouwarma means the King of the Meat), so our Shawarma is fit for a King!” says Rami.
Original Kebab is also one of our specialties. Kebab is meat on a skewer, and it is made with lamb and beef minced meat. Most of the variations can be attributed to the Armenian Lebanese community, who mastered the art of preparing kebab in Lebanon. As well as Sujuk, Makanek, Lahmejoun, Chou Kofta and Basterma. All of these delicious Lebanese Armenian meals will be prepared in our kitchen, by chef Rami and chef Garo Trakejian.
Rami is the executive chef and owner of Semiramis and has been working in Mediterranean Lebanese Cuisine industry for over 25 years, creating delicious recipes in Germany, Spain, Brazil and Canada. He and Abby Farrage, an internationally known businessman and investor relations, created Semiramis to promote perfection in Vancouver Mediterranean Lebanese cuisine and entertainment.

Evening dining is rich in its offerings of both food and entertainment throughout the week. The restaurant design is open, so some of that entertainment comes in watching your meal being prepared.
