Sejuiced is a 4th Ave staple and was one of the first of its kind, serving up fresh, imaginative juices and a small menu of vegetarian items. Each order comes with its own mantra card...something to think about while you eat.
I love the smoothies here. Was hooked the first time I came in with some friends after some shopping.
Although on the expensive side, it's a healthier alternative to a cup of java. I don't even mind the mild taste.
I shop along West 4th sometimes and always get a smoothie from here.. or stop by to grab a burger or sandwich on my way home.
The service here isn't HORRIBLE, it's just.. very minimal interaction. I've heard from a friend of mine that works at Cobs on West 4th that they have rather snotty employees (Sejuiced uses Cobs bread), but as a customer I haven't really had that problem.
I absolutely love their menu and like what they stand for: locally grown and organic foods. Seriously really good and super healthy. It's a bit pricey for their items really, but that's what you would expect when it's all local organic produce I suppose. The smoothies here are awesome. One of my favourites is the blue lagoon. And it's cool that they have these little photo hangers at their tables with different fruit cards showing what they're good for (ex: acai is good for hair). But yeah, they have some outdoor seating when the weather is warm too. The interior of the building is very bright.
Definitely the place to grab a small meal when you feel like you've had too much oily foods.. or just sick of your usual greasy take out. Don't forget your smoothie!
been coming here when i want something healthier. i eat out daily. so this place is a very good option when i want something healthier. the place is not very big. you walk to the counter and place your order. protein is mainly based on tofu, tempeh, beans. i really like their dahl soup, salad and juices.
i have tried all the food items on the menu. they got breakfast, wraps, sandwiches, soup, salad and an assortment of juices. doubt i will try all the drink option. and there are many to choose from.
i would recommend this place. esp if you are like me and looking for healthier dining.
The food and drinks here are incredible! My favorites are the first kiss, the berry good, and the strawberry fields. I love that their smoothies don't have a ton of added sugar like jugo juice, or any of those other shops that basically sell milkshakes and pretend they're healthy! The food is also incredible, and I live the tofu scramble. It's completely vegan and has this delicious, almost cheesy sauce. One of my favorite places for sure!
I now understand what it is to be 'Sejuiced'. For what this place is, a happy healthy-food haven, it is superb. i walked in a few days ago in the afternoon looking for lunch. I tried an Exotica smoothie and a veggie burger with salad. The smoothie was creamy coconut-mango gloriousness and the burger was nice and moist and packed with flavour. The side salad was enough to fill me right up and the limey dressing was very refreshing. I was served quickly but a few tables were left unbussed for a long time. I like the airy, colourful atmosphere and the little cards on the tables which decree the health benefits of the various extra-healthy shots they offer. I look forward to returning for breakfast soon.
Really tasty, high quality, healthy food. Almost everything on the menu is so good for you that you know you're doing your body good by eating there. It's a little on the pricey side, but I'm OK with it knowing that it's so much better for me than many other restaurants. The burgers there are very tasty, but quite large so it's hard for me to finish. I also love their grilled tofu sandwich, quesadilla, and their standard dahl soup. Oh the salad with the grilled tofu pieces is also great. And their take-out containers are made of compostable pulp products.
You got your carrots, your cauliflower, your brown rice, your tofu ... It's all there when you order the Swami-G rice bowl, but what's missing is liveliness, flavor, excitement! I could make this at home, throw a little nutritional yeast on it and be more satisfied then I was coming out of Sejuiced. It made me yearn for a good rice bowl at another vegetarian restaurant on 4th which shall remain unnamed.
The quality of the food matched the service, as the counter person seemed apathetic and somehow overwhelmed by the mild rush of lunchers. They did make a nice strawberry-mango juice, and the casual atmosphere makes for a relaxing time. It's possible they have better dishes, but on the basis of my one experience I'm not inclined to go back and find out.
Grabbed a quick bite at Sejuiced before heading off to a movie last night. Was my first time having a meal there, have tried the smoothies and juices before but decided to try the Mega Protein salad which came with a side of garlic bread and grilled tofu for 7.95. Great deal for a meal sized salad. The garlic bread was very tasty but the grilled tofu was to die for, would love to know what their marinade is. Left feeling very satisfied, good food, great location and good value for the $.
Don't be fooled by the name and decor - this is not just a quick-stop juice bar.
I encourage you to try the food here; it doesn't seem like a dining environment, but it is a great place to sit down and eat, strictly for the quality of the menu. Perfect for breakfast or lunch. Based on the quality of their menu, they could remodel for more of a dining ambiance, but as it is it is a great causal place to relax in an almost cafe-like setting.
I work in the area and often order a lunch to eat during my break at several resturaunts in the area. I was highly impressed with sejuiced as you can get a really filling sandwich and bowl of soup for about $8. Not to mention how healthy they are. I am not too sure about the overall atmosphere of the place as I have never eaten it. However, was very impressed with the food and freshness of even a chai tea latte.
