A Chinese takeout restaurant int the old Mui Garden location. Featuring AYCE from 1:30pm to 8:00 pm weekdays.
I went to this restaurant based on the free samples of food they were giving out a few weeks back. That kind of PR sticks in the mind.
This location has gone through several incarnations, and they haven't gotten any better. The high water mark was when it was a Malaysian curry joint. Now they have steam-table Chinese takeout, similar to what you find in a food court.
The inside is dingy and not too welcoming. The staff are extremely friendly though, so that warmed up the place.
The food was a disappointment. I had sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry, and tofu with chillies, plus some fried rice. Nothing was very tasty, but it wasn't awful either. With so many good restaurants in the neighborhood, I won't be back here again.
