The place is pretty quiet and easy to miss along the busy Kingsway corridor. Lots of seating space and typical decor of your "hole in the wall" restaurant. Had the lunch special (12 to 3pm) which is basically a small menu item (fish burger, hamburger, one piece cod and fries) plus a pop or soup for an extra $0.50.
I had the fish burger with fries and clam chowder - great deal at $5.00 total. Portion size was HUGE. Fish batter was light and fluffy and burger was fully dressed with fried onions, tomato, and mayo and tartar sauce on the side. Clam chowder was similar to those of other fish and chip places. Didn't care much for the fries though - found them kind of dry.
All in all a great value!
