Cool atmosphere crappy food

After reading all the hype about this place we finally decided to try it out for brunch.?
The service was mediocre at best and the food not good
The big breakfast was so over cooked, potatoes like fried up rocks, poached eggs like golf balls
Awful food, toast had been sitting out a long time before it came to me, likely pre cooked, so dry and shrivelled up, yecch!
The perogies were so over cooked you could hardly cut them with a steak knife, unreal bad.
Likely the worst breakie I have ever had. Wife's French toast was passable, but there was snotty uncooked egg on the bottom,,,!
Suffice to say whoever is in the kitchen isn't on the ball, maybe we just happened to get a cook having a bad morning, but it wasn't good
The value for the price paid was NOT good,,pretty expensive for the portion and quality
We won't be back
Too bad, I have read some good reviews about Score but this isn't a good one for sure

Perogies and Bacon!? Yes please!

Oh, my weekend brunch home... if your food wasn't so delicious, if your prices weren't so low and if your staff wasn't so awesome I would have to stop coming to you every weekend day (and several weekday nights) for sustenance. This place offers me everything I want: a friendly server, occasional eye-candy, big screen tv's, perogies for breakfast (ok, they offer a few things I didn't even know I wanted), tables in the sun, large spacious booths and did I mention, perogies for breakfast?! The Score caters to everyone in town it seems so stop by for a pint, a latte or a UFC fight and enjoy one of the best kept secrets in the city.

Hockey and beer. Yes Please

Love going here to watch hockey games. Solid pub fare and lots of beer at a reasonable price. Staff is fantastic. Always make me feel welcome and part of the neighbourhood. They are very accomadating in showing out of town hockey games when the 'Nucks aren't playing. Looking forward to watching the Superbowl there.

Good Service

Have been going here for UFC fights the last few months. Always jam packed with people but the servers always manage to give very good service. They usually remember what I drink, and are pretty good at keeping my glass always half full. Food, Ive only tried their wings and salmon burger but suprisingly good.

One thing I remembered, the server bought me a drink on the house for the food taking "a bit longer than usual". Still, the food didnt take very long.

I would go back just for the friendly servers and UFC.

Brunch was tasty!

Went into Score recently on a Saturday for some breakfast.
Big brunch menu was impressive. I had the Eggs Benny. Excellent hollindaise sauce. They also made a great Spicy Caesar.
Service was prompt and friendly. Busy buzzing crowd plus some interesting music made for an enjoyable ambiance.
And pretty good bang for your buck. Friend of mine had the "$5 breakfast". Decent size for 5 bucks.
All in all, good breakfast/brunch place that i will be returning to in the future. Apparently they are opening brunch 7 days a week soon so i can go for my hang-over brunch any day of the week!

This place looks 1000x better than it used to back when it was Sugar Daddy's. The reno is very nice and the place looks like a stylish spot you would want to hang out in.

Sadly, the food is absymal. I had one of their pizzas and the quality was worse than the pizza by the slice places. soggy and bland. companion had a burger/fries, was also unimpressed.

service was good and crowd was hot. I say avoid the food and go for the bevs,

Good place to catch a game
By pocojoe of West End, Vancouver (1 Review)

Went there last night to catch the Canucks on Pay Per View. Nice location for West End residents. Good solid pub grub. Had the Score burger which was as good as any other around town. Friend had breakfast which they serve until 8:00 p.m. Service was amazing, very attentive. Waiter took our orders promptly, food came quickly. We had a a couple of pitchers of beer and our waiter would refill our glasses for us when they were nearing empty. Not something you would expect in a pub. Ambiance was pretty standard. Tables a tad low, could not see the TV's above the bar for the heads in the way. Luckily they had a bunch of others we could see. All in all a good local spot to grab some decent chow and catch the game.
