Rocky Mountain is a restaurant that makes high quality organic pizzas, salads, soups and pasta.
We went for Brunch which is served until 2:00p.m. on the weekends which is nice for those who get a late start on the weekends.
I ordered a flatbread pizza with egg and sausage whcih was very good. My partner had an omelet which was also good. It's neat to watch them cook the flatbreads on the open oven. This is a trendy place on Main street and was quite busy.
All the food is organic and from local farmers, so I don't really mind that the prices are a bit higher as I can understand their increased costs.
This is a family friendly place and there were several young couples with toddlers. Service was friendly and they kept our coffee cups refilled. I would definately go again.
Dropped by this spot a week ago for Sunday brunch. I ordered one of their omelettes and coffee my dining partner had the Salmon Salad. First go around my coffee was lukewarm so I asked the very friendly server if she could warm it up. It was no problem and in short order I had a nice , fresh , pipping hot cup of coffee.
My omelette arrived and quite frankly I was surprised at the size of the plate. I am glad that I wasn't particularly ravenous as the order was really on the skimpy side. A few of their home cooked hash brown potatoes that were nothing special, a very smallish omelette portion that was just fine, nothing to rave about and as I recall a couple of greens.
My dining partners salad was also small with just a few bits of fish on top of greens for around 13 bucks or so. Really not worth the cost of the dish.
I watched as the flatbread pizzas came by for other patrons and they looked okay but again on the very small side.
Our server was very good. Friendly, sense of humour and there when we needed her. That being said not really in a hurry to rush back to The Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company, maybe the next time I am not particularly hungry.
My favorite pizza place has come to Main Street! I wolfed down my favorite salad - fig and goat's cheese followed by a farmers market flatbread loaded with local produce - beans, chard, kale, field tomatoes. Service was sooo welcoming & lovely. And the kids hung out by the play area & made their pizza tonight. Thanks to all at Rocky Mountain!
