An Internet cafe serving gelato, smoothies and light snacks.
I was taking some out of town guests to experience a little Pride in the West End, and of course nothing says diversity like gelato. Actually, we were wandering aimlessly and we scampered into this place because we could see the cooler full of gelato and it looked very inviting. RIV is primarily an internet cafe, but they have pot noodles, gelato and smoothies. The smoothies were a little expensive, but the gelato was reasonably priced for downtown and there was a good selection. We got a variety of gelato cones and all were quite tasty. I suspect the gelato is made off site and brought in which was okay with me. Service was great, and we were not chastised for taking multiple samples. As for ambiance, it is an Internet cafe, so we weren't expecting much, but the whole place was clean.
I will definitely return to log in and lick ice cream next time I am in the area.
