Raviolino is located on the corner of 4th and McDonald and offers fresh pasta dishes and other delectables including soups and bakery goods.
Raviolini ( corner of 4th and MacDonald) is a charming restaurant. The staff are Italian and Peruvian and everything is as fresh as can be.
Today, I picked up Genoa salami freshly sliced,an apple pie made with organic apples from the owner's garden ($10 for the whole pie) and a delicious Fettucini Bolognese/a Ragu freshly made all in front of my eyes (for $18 for a family of 6).
You can eat in if you want a no-nonsense, no frills lunch or dinner but I think the wonders are to be had in taking all this authentic loveliness home. The food is sexy - all kinds of meat and vegetarian raviolis, a traditional eggplant dish, Ladies Fingers, Alfajores ( caramel softness inside lemon biscuit lightly dusted with icing sugar) Minestrone ... My children love the meat sauces and cheese sauces and my adult friends love all of it including the seafood ravioli and spinach canneloni.
The staff who treat you like family, will fully prepare and heat things for you or tell you how to warm the food at home - this is the wholesome delicious food we should all be cooking ourselves but somehow are never prepared to invest the time - I have been going to this place for 3 years and it never ever ever ever ever disappoints.
Raviolino is also very good at making platters to suit you which are great value for the still unbeleivable taste. I once attended a cookie baking party and pretended that their cookies were home made - they were....just not by me! This is real Italy and it deserves to be cherished. Kits is very lucky to have this part of Italy on our doorstep.
