Really? You're going to "Wow" me with a sandwich?

The board out front boasts 'best sandwich in town' - Yeah, right - you are going to 'wow' me with a sandwich? or soup? or a salad? C'mon....

I'd eat those words but I'm just too full from the BEST chicken club and tomato soup I have EVER HAD! I wanted to go someplace else but my friend insisted. I'm glad she did! I would highly recommend this place. We each had something different - me the sandwich and soup - and my friend had a spinach salad that she said was likely the best she's had. They are not skimpy with the fixins either! You can buy their bread too.

I'm definitely going back - I can hardly wait for the next lunch out!

the place fills up quickly - the table set up is 'communal' and I don't mind that so much except the guys at the other end of table kept hitting the table and moving it so I had to be careful not to slop my soup. There isn't a lot of seating - good thing summer's just around the corner. I only gave the 'ambiance' a 2 because of the noise. The music was really loud and then to fill up the place on top of that - people talking even louder to be heard over the music.....

The only thing I really didn't care for was having them take my name - I prefer a number system or something - the place got busy and I didn't hear the girl walking around calling my name.... I don't like that.

I have to admit I was a little hesitant to go to a new trendy place, but I have been there three times now, and I am very pleased. The service is excellent, the food is terrific and the price is fair. I can't say enough about the bread, which I was told is baked in-house. Most focaccia I have had is pretty dry and dense.. Theirs is lighter and makes for a great sandwich. The heading that says "take out" isn't entirely accurate. Most people take out, but there are several tables for dine-in. Soups, custom salads and a set menu of sandwiches. plus a daily special are offered. I haven't tried the desserts, but they look good. The only negative, which isn't really a negative, is that it gets busy from noon to 1:00. Highly recommended.
