I went to Primo after dinner the other night because I was attracted by the big Illy coffee sign. I foolishly had the gelato instead of the tasty Illy Italian roasted coffee. Both the chocolate banana and the strawberry gelato were quite bad. The chocolate banana had no flavour, and the strawberry tasted like citrus, not like any kind of berry found in Nature. The cone was neither good nor bad.
If I had gone to Mondo gelato instead (across Robson Street), I would have gotten something a lot better. What was I thinking?
