This place is in Oakridge food court. The service was SLOW. They did fry the falafels fresh though - too bad they didn't taste good. They were not fully brown and shaped like to mini frisbees smushed together - not real falafel shape - there was 2 small ones.. They were not spicy nor was the falafel garlicy at all. They did not ask what toppings I wanted and just put lettuce and tomato - no onions. Then they put too much runny tzatziki on it and it soaked the pita and fell apart. The whole thing was a mess. And the combo was almost $9. It's less than $7 at the yummy place in Brentwood. Would not go again.
Popped into the Food court at Oakridge for something small to tie me over...
It was a choice between the new taco place that has just opened or the greek place. The Greek won, i however, after eating my chicken souvlaki pita - decided i had not won.
Even though there was no-one lining up, it took a while for my order to be taken. When my order did arrive, it was cold and drenched in mayonnaise. It was falling apart, not because it was filled with too much salad, but because it wasn't wrapped properly. Maybe a small matter, for me and important one. If you're going to do it, do it properly.
I suspect, eating in would be better. I wouldn't advise on getting take out.
Absolutely terrible. Slow and rude staff. Clearly a family operation looking to save a penny anywhere. Foodwise, dry chicken, dry pita, not even sure if it can be called tzatziki, more like a runny ranch mayonaise sauce. Side salad was terrible as well. Not sure what the dressing was, greens tasted like they've been in the fridge for a couple weeks. Avoid at all costs.
