Pita Star is a family run deli and bakery that serves up authentic Israeli cuisine.
I had their pita falafel a few times and it's just getting better and better. Everything is so fresh. The store is clean and the staff is polite. It became my lunch favourite. Definitely worth trying.
somewhat spacious feeling compared to most falafel places! there is also some effort at decorating.
I love their 'samosa chips' which are ready to go like a bag os chips, and have a spicy lemon flavour. the falafal wrap is good (&cheap) and they have very reasonable prices for meals like vegi curry or butter chicken with rice. my s.o. is addicted to this place's butter chicken over any other place. service is good and they take visa
The BEST falafel in town served authentically!!! Fast, friendly and inexpensive!!! You MUST try their hot sauce. But be careful, it's very addictive - once you have their falafel, you will go back and back and back for more.
The falafel's at Pita Star are one of a kind. The falafel balls are so tasty and not the least bit dry! The pita bread is always fresh and never breaks.......great job! This is true Israelie cusine....they have home made Hummus and hot sauce that are outstanding...they also have a great bakery section of Jewish pastries. Yummy!
Overall...if you are looking for a great cheap lunch or dinner...this is the place to go. I will definitely share this with all my friends and co-works!
