I was hungry after work, knew it would be awhile before I got home, due to the fireworks crowd. I decided to try Megabite Pizza, order 2 slices to for $3.99.
The service was quick, the pizza was hot, I prefered the ham & pineapple vs the meat pizza. The place isn't anything special, they do have some seats to eat, otherwise its mostly take out.
Its a spot to eat cheap pizza that did hit the spot. I can see myself going back.
A colleague treated me to a vegetarian pizza. I normally do not order vegetarian because I am a meat carnivor. To my surprise, I liked the taste of the toppings, as it was not greasy. B best of all was the crust, especially with sesame seeds at the outer crust.
I will definitely go back to try other flavours.
You guys, Megabite is so awesome. Their pizzas are the thickest, meatiest, most delicious and the prices don't make me sweat. They always have some good deals happening, and I've taken good advantage of their Hockey Meal Deal. It's only $30 for 2 XL pizzas and two 2L drinks! The biggest problem is often just choosing which 2 pizzas I want to order (though I've almost tried them all now!) And of course they deliver, which any good hockey fan glued to the couch come playoff time will appreciate.
So I can order a Mega Philly Steak and a Carnivore, sit back, and have it delivered to my door fresh and in a timely manner, which is exactly what happened on Sunday and I predict will happen again today. Megabite has never let me down. I can't really say the same for the Canucks lately... but at least the pizza will be good. It's fortunate I'm a secret Bruins fan on the side (shh).
THE pizza place in the very heart of downtown Vancouver's entertainment district. It's no coincidence that this Megabite location gets a ton of business not only due to its location but the fact there is a pizza place that can offer it to you in a fresh, fast, and affordable fashion. Like in the movie "if you build it they will come".
I went in to grab some lunch, stood in the line with the other pizza lovers who wanted something that didn't taste like cardboard with tomatoes on it. As I was waiting I was getting hungrier and hungrier looking at the pizzas coming out; spicy mushroom, pepperoni, grilled chicken, so on. I ended up getting the Jumbo Box (8 slices from the shelf for $12), I literally got 8 types of pizza for the price of one. I pulled up a chair and devoured a few slices, then took the rest home with me content and stuffed.
