Matchstick Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee bar and roastery in East Vancouver. Also offering freshly baked pastries, treats and sandwiches.
I was eagerly anticipating a visit to Matchstick. I was not disappointed. The smoked meat sandwich was very good, but I was much more interested in the coffee. I'd gladly drive back in to Vancouver for another cup. It was a fantastic brew. Love the pour over Chemex/Koava filter method - great roast (currently serving Phil + Sebastian outvoc Calgary while they get their own roaster up and running), great brew, great cup of coffee. A trip to Matchstick will not disappoint, and a seat a their long wooden table is worth the visit. Annie, Spencer and company have a good thing going. Looking forward to their first batch of house roasted beans. I'll be there, don't worry.
