When I saw the price of their paninis I will admit that I balked - 10 dollars each seemed pretty hefty for what looked like a relatively small serving. However, after trying the Torino and vegetarian varieties I was very impressed. They are fresh, flavourful, and the dried fig is a unique and tasty choice of garnish. Service is usually good, but minimal: order at the counter and the server brings it to your table. Overall, my favourite thing about Mario's is the invariable quality of the food, with my least favourite things being the tight seating arrangement and the extra charge if you share an item (though I have shared in the past and not been charged). Definitely recommended for a quick workday indulgence.
