I haven't been to this place for a year or so, but when I worked downtown for 5 years I visited the Teriyaki Experience a few times a week for lunch. The quality of the meat is was much higher than other Japanese-style mall stir-fry places I've gone to. I especially recommend the teriyaki chicken stir fry. Usually in these mall stir-fry places (Edo, Koya etc) you get marginal quality chicken with some gristle and the pieces not completely separated At the TE, my chicken was always properly chopped, tender, flavorful and well-cooked. Also they cook without oil, and the vegetables they serve with the meal include real bean sprouts rather than chopped cabbage. Never once here did I have the gross-out experience of finding a piece of bone, skin or gristle in my meat. Service was fast and polite even during the lunch hour rush. If you are in the Burrard Skytrain area, stop by this place for a cheap, healthy & tasty lunch.
