Oh my goodness.
It's probably the one day where this place just gets hammered, but you know what, they surprisingly handled it well.
First, I went around 7pm, thinking that the dinner rush would be over. But when I walked in there was a line of 4 people. Now if you've been to this KFC, you may know it's depth is not that big, but it's wide with a seating area on 1 side and a drink machine on the other of the counter.
Okay, so the line up actually moved quite reasonably and they got all the orders in. The wait for my chicken was about 10-15 minutes. In the meantime I saw a lady come in who was doing the deliveries loading up her bag for the next one and more customers.
Then these 2 big guys walked in who ordered a $100 worth of chicken after they were done.
That's right, one hundred dollars. They had supposedly come from the other KFC across town down by Knight/49th as the line up at that location was "out the door"! So the cashier unfortunately got confused about inserting some stuff so some team member had to help her out from the chicken. Meanwhile, the line up is building to the door.
But it only built up to the door. Sure, there was this 1 guy who saw what happened and left in a huff with a bunch of swearing cause he saw what type of order was going down, but other than that, it was okay.
There were flies flying around and someone had spilled stuff on the floor. The second till also didn't open.
I enjoyed my sinfully delicious KFC.
They take Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.
