Tasty spicy bratwurst

While cruising through Granville Island, I grabbed a bratwurst from Kaisereck. This is probably one of the last stalls I haven't tried in the GI Market food court. I was pretty good but I think I was suffering from topping indecision because my choices were not the best combination. The ambiance on a nice sunny day is almost unbeatable regardless of what food court vendor you choose from GI.

I have been going to this great deli for years, my husband works downtown and I have always enjoyed it when we have gone here for lunch or breakfast (they have a great lox bagel) .
The made to order sandwiches are a great the ingredients are fresh quality and being a family owned business there is pride in their product. Thank Norman!

Perfect Afternoon Delight

What an incredible little deli!! My fiancee and I went for a stroll through granville island on a beautiful sunday afternoon and decided we wanted some food. Kaisereck had a very long line so we decided to see what all the fuss was about. My goodness it did not disappoint! The made to order sandwich my fiancee had was incredible...so fresh and tasty! I had the best bratwurst I have ever had...covered in yummy sauerkraut. Prices were very reasonable and the service was the best part. It turned out our server was one of the owner's sons. He was very polite and had obviously mastered the craft of sandwich making (not to mention he was very easy on the eyes...according to my fiancee). I think his name was Aziz or Aviz. Ask for him if you're there on a weekend you won't regret it. All in All a fantastic gem hidden in granville market.
