Too many OTHER Awesome coffee shops on Main Street.

Main street means coffee shops to me. So I am always surprised when I encounter terrible service in such a competitive market. I normally frequent other coffee shops in the area but decided to try Kafka's after walking by today.

Honestly I cant complain about the coffee, hand poured coffee is away tasty and the raspberry hazelnut torte was mediocre. But the service was AWFUL. Now thats fine if you don't want to make small talk at the register but there is no need to roll your eyes and be rude. I'm not trying to offend you when I ask for a receipt. I wont come back don't worry! Main street is full of awesome coffee shops with better food and better service!

The staff is chatty and friendly. The atmosphere is more or less what they are going for, so no complaints there. it's comfy and there iss free internet, so I have brought the laptop in a couple of times. The muffins are great, but the coffee is just superb. Kafka's uses beans from 49th parallel which is my favorite. I frequent a few places that use their beans, but the baristas at kafka's are very attentive to the quality, so the coffee is that much better. While I don't live or work near Kafka's I will drive out of the way if I am anywhere nearby to grab a latte.
