It is my weekly ritual to go to THE JUNCTION PUBLIC HOUSE for the great appys they have. AND they are half price from 3-6 so it is an incredible value. The NOODLE WRAPPED SHRIMP are simply to die for. Lightly noodle wrapped with a nice dipping sauce on a plate of shredded veg. EXCELLENT! The waiter was very charming (though I had been waited on by this guy at another establishment where he wasn't so nice, so I guess he must enjoy working here LOL) The chicken finger came with fries which was also a suprise since it wasn't mentioned on the menu. The yam fries with chipotle mayo were good too. I have also eaten here for breakfast which was ALSO superb... and the price of $5.50 it is the best deal in town. The sausages were the nice plump ones, not the burnt sticks I am so often served elsewhere. Though it is considered a "gay" establishment it is a place for ANYONE to drink and dine. And speaking of drinks, they have some great specials. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
why is it that all the places on Davie street - the Score,Fountian Head, Moxies,Speak East and now The Junction Public House all have the same menu?????????
here was a chance for a new place to get it right but they put in there cookie cutter menu just like there place a few blocks down the street The Calling House The Donnelly Group is now the owners
and should know that Davie St is in need of a good place that actually has a creative menuwith good food .
