An Indian take-away located in the food court at International Village
Been here a few times and ordered their butter chicken and drink combo. Their sauce is tasty and their chicken is in tiny lil chunks. I didn't mind it cuz I'm not much of a meat eater but it's quite expensive. I think it was $7 a combo.
The last time I went was a week day and I guess it was a quiet day so they kept the food a lil bit too long. After I had the meal, I went home and immediately had to go the washroom. Food poisoning? Maybe.
Whenever I'm at Tinseltown for a movie, I always stop by India's Flavour for some butter chicken. I've been coming here for my quick butter chicken fix for years. However, times have changed, and their chicken pieces have decreased. On my last visit here, I've noticed a substantial cut-back on the chicken as well as the size of the naan. The naan used to be folded in quarters to fit the tray! Now, it's almost half the size, but at least it's still super fresh. And the butter chicken is still very tasty.
I agree with Chasiubow - service has always been friendly and appreciative.
I was hungry and craving something savoury. This place filled the gap. It is in the slightly scary food court at IV, and was a welcome fuel stop in a harsh landscape. The place does steam table Indian takeout, which is fine with me. I had butter chicken, naan bread, and some basmati rice. The food was good, and the server was friendly. I will probably go back next time I am in the 'hood.
