I use to go here quite often when it first opened a few years ago, but it has changed hands to a new couple who runs this little hole in the wall down Victoria Drive near 54th Avenue. They do try to imitate other restuarants by providing some fancy fusion rolls and such, but I usually order the bowl of Ramen or Udon. It's pretty consistent, not the best ramen in town, but definately not the worst. I'd go eat there if you're in that part of town for some reason, but remember, it's a tiny little place and last time I went, it was CASH ONLY.
I usually go here with my girlfriend to get their large ramen and some sushi. I would say that you could get a really good deal on the Ramen and sushi since their large ramen is incredibly huge. Food quality was good. It wasn't something that would blow you away, but I would say it's still very enjoyable. The sushi was also fresh (I literally saw the chef cutting up a whole salmon in front of me) and also remaining at a lower price while also being comparable to the more "upscale" sushi joints, I would definitely order again. The service here was great as well as they would greet me and refill my tea without me personally asking. It's a recommendation from me if you're in Victoria and are having some cravings for either sushi or ramen...hmm, talking about this has made me hungry... Cya!
