Ho Ho's serves Chinese fast food.
Food: Pretty much athe same as any "fast" food chinses restaurants. I think home cook meals maybe better than MSG filled food.
Service: Fast
Ambiance: A few tables with chairs. Not a very restaurant like resaurant. Bright lights, big windows.
I went here bcause I want something to eat before I started work down the street. It nearby my work and I wanted a change from my usual.
Solid Chinese food. You won't find anything special here but the prices are fair so it's not a place to be completely ignored. (My mom is addicted to the place though, god knows why. -_-; Anyways, if your looking for a lot better Chinese food in area look down Hastings, there's quite a few places down there.
The original Ho Ho's was the one on 1224 Davie Street, and I simply LOVE it there. So, when this one opened I was really excited to try it out as it's a bit closer to where I live, however, I found that the quality of food was much worse. Unlike the original, this restaurant (and the one on Robson) uses (lots of) MSG. And well ... it just doesn't taste as good. Prices/portions are relatively the same though. Waiters and ambiance aren't bad as well. But before you try this one, go to the one on Davie first. Personally, I always travel a bit farther to go to the other one.
But with a little more choice...not bad, good for 'on the run' and it's not too expensive. The bathroom is gross though, don't use it if you don't have to.
The pile the food on so you get what you pay and the girls seem to be nice that serve there. MSG laden but most places are like that anyway, and sometimes I just like having that MSG fix...
