A quick serve dining concession at the track.
Mrs. C and I were at the racecourse for the first time ever, and all that adrenaline made us hungry! We spotted a few eateries in the complex, but we were attracted by this place because it was close to the action and had a decent selection of food. We decided on sharing a Reuben and a beer, and it was actually not crazy expensive as I feared. Plus it was tasty and the portions were big. That was unexpected.
Let's face it, the average racetrack isn't the most hygienic place in the world, but this was a little island of cleanliness in a sea of lost betting slips and scruffy trackrats.
Service was good, and we were able to refuel and get back to giving away our money quickly. Actually Mrs. C came out a few bucks ahead at the end...
A good bet.
