I was meeting my classmate at this cafe this past Wednesday for a cup of coffee. Typical local cafe, jazz playing at the background. There were 2 people working at the time and they were both very pleasant and up-lifting.
The guy with Scottish accent informed me that they are having a promotion this month and it's $3.99 for a 6oz burger. I was like "3.99 for a burger? You kidding?"; so both my classmate and I ordered one.
Wasn't expecting too much for 3.99 burger but turned out it was pretty good. Real beef patty with BBQ sauce and it was big enough that I was full after that.
Not the best burger I've ever had but for that price, it was the best deal I've had.
Oh, the coffee (which we originally went for) was really good, too.
They serve JJ Bean's coffee there.
The Chinese guy that works there (seems to be the manager or owner) was friendly and seemed to know almost everybody that came into the cafe.
Decent atmosphere, good choices of sandwiches, and heck, the best deal of burger I've found in DT.
Saw the group sitting next to me having fruit smoothies in huge glass; that's what I'll try next time.
