Great bubble tea dive

I came here maybe a handful of times during my highschool days but moreso recently with the gf. I had always assumed the name was just Bubble Tea, as their awning suggests, but I guess not.

My last few recent visits I've shared the cappuccino bubble tea with the gf, which consistently tastes great. It is mixed well with a loud shout of espresso flavour. I like the fruit slush (passionfruit) though I tend to gravitate to just having a few sips of the girlfriend's drink.

The place is filthy and cold, though seems like a local hangout. Service is slow as there has always been only 1 person there working, though he is friendly and apologizes for our waiting.

If you can overlook the sty, the drinks are quite the pleasant surprise.

Comparable to Dragon Ballz

my b/f and i were out for a walk and came across this little bbtea joint and decided to give it a try. they have an impressive selection of bbtea flavors and we finally settled on the mango strawberry slush which was made fr real mangos and strawberries (maybe not "fresh", couldve been canned or frozen but at least not powdered). my first sip i was instantly reminded of Dragon Ballz but even better this place is near my house! yay! dont expect much in terms of ambiance and setting (mush like DBallz) and you wont be disappointed. try not to read too much into the name too...i'm still scratching my head. i will def be returning to try the other interesting flavors on their menu.

bubble tea break

I was craving a BBT when I spotted this place near Fraser and 41st, so I scampered in for a beverage. Despite the name I didn't see much in the way of natural foods, but I think they had an impressive selection of bubble teas. The place was big but not very clean. Service was great, and the counter guy actually said "Enjoy your beverage sir". That was a first. I had a banana and strawberry fresh fruit tea, which was a little steep at $3.75, but was well-prepared and tasted good. I will probably return if I am nearby.

  • Deborah : I tried the avocado fruit slush with pearls and it was very similar to the shakes I used to have in the Philippines. The cafe is a whole in the ground but they make great bubble teas!
