My wife and I have eaten here on several occasions now and always leave raving about the meals and service.
We have enjoyed the Coq au Vin made with Cornish game hens - lots of meat and an incredible sauce, the Braised beef cheeks - fall apart tender - served with a creamy risotto just the way we like it, unlike the dried out version served by some other restaurants and last night I had the ratatouille lasagna which was superb. I should add that the seafood chowder is one of the best in town.
We both agreed that we would like to see some lower priced wine options offered but at the expensive lease rates for Yaletown space this is not unique to this restaurant.
We were also very impressed with how open and receptive the proprietors were to customer feedback, something that is not the case with many other restaurants. Our experience is that long term success in the restaurant trade can often be predicted by how amenable the owner/chefs are to encouraging and responding to what their customers are saying.
