Fresh Slice offers fresh, made to order pizza for take out and delivery as well as in-store pizza by the slice.
I met up with a couple of friends at this location as it was close to their work. While it is mostly a takeout operation there are quite a number of seats available for dine-in patrons. Surroundings are minimal and is self serve at best. Cleanliness is decidedly based on the last customer at the tables.
The pizza is by and large based on quantity over quality. If you order by the slice, chances are the pizza will have sat under the heat lamps for some time, with does alter the goodness of the pizza itself. A couple of our slices were oil soaked sponges with lots of droop while our standard pepperoni was pretty good as was the crust. For value, pretty darn good.
Though I won't write off this place entirely, but if this constitutes as Vancouver style pizza, I am mostly embarassed, unless Vancouver style pizza means cheap, mediocre fill for the gut.
