The Clubhouse is open to the public (including non-golfers). Patrons order from the kitchen area cafeteria style, but servers will bring grilled orders to one's table. There is a patio overlooking the golf course to the south, which provides the view from the huge south windows when dining indoors.
I take my children (ages 2 and 4) here sometimes. It is a relaxing walk around the perimeter path of the Fraserview Golf Course.
The cafeteria style restaurant is located in the Clubhouse, across from the Pro Shop.
We usually have one order of the burger with the "works" and include fries as a platter. We take another order of just a cheeseburger. The staff are happy to split the burger for the children and serve it to us on two separate small plates. I share my ample fries with the kids from my platter. We usually just have water (which we obtain from the soda dispenser). Our bill comes to just over $17.00 TOTAL.
The servers are very friendly and interact nicely with the kids. Although we order from the counter, the servers always serve the grill order to the tables on stonewear plates. My "works" burger includes lettuce, onions, tomato, mushrooms and bacon and pickles on the side. The amount of extras is very generous. The cheeseburgers include lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles as well as the cheese. The fries are served very hot and fresh and never taste greasy.
The view is outstanding. This afternoon, we even saw a lone coyote saunter across the green. Their is also regular sightings of interesting birds (in fact, the Audabon Society has a list of sighted birds listed on a plaque outside the entrance to the Clubhouse).
It is not a trendy place or a fancy place. It is a relaxing place that is open and welcoming to all ages and has decent food with an awesome view.
