Fountainhead is a neighbourhood pub that features a diverse clientele, pool table, darts, good beer selection and friendly service.
The Fountainhead could use some interior design changes....it has a good location on Davie/Burrard Streets but is kind of blah the moment you walk in. Lunch food was fine for a pub, salmon burger was quite good and the service was OK. Thats about all. Too many TVs. Needs some extra umph to bring it up a level.
The Fountainhead is a popular gay pub/ hangout on Davie with a very casual atmosphere, decent food (but nothing special), good staff, and there's a pool table and darts. My main complaint is the 10 or 11 TV screens they have, playing all sorts of different programs, which annoys me to the point where I just don't want to go there.
Nothing but good about this place, the food is great, service is good and with a patio in a spot like this. I say go check it out.
Beers are cold and foor is tasty. Staff is very friendly and prices are more then reasonable.
