Pretty good

we tried this place on a Groupon, and I must say that it's a pretty good burger, very filling :o) the fries need an upgrade ... they are like hollow potato strips, but otherwise the burgers are great.

the chicken burger is a big breast fillet, again very tasty.

I will definitely dine at Fat Burger again.

I watched this location spring up but never had the foresight to dine here until this past weekend. I remarked at the conspicuously displayed "last great hamburger stand" slogan across the windows to my gf upon entering and made our way to the small outdoor patio area once we placed our order. The space is small but spotless and the staff are constantly running around making sure the tables are kept clear.

We ordered the mushroom burger, a bacon and cheese and shared the fries, drink and onion rings. Even our burgers were neatly assembled and wrapped tight in foil. I likened my bacon cheeseburger far more it used real cheddar and had thick, crispy bacon. The patty felt ideal for an operation like this and I didn't mind the bun at all. The mushrooms were bland albeit plentiful but overall it was average. The fries were excellent far better than most burger and fries combos I've had while the battered onion rings were good but a little greasy. Value is a little blurred in my mind as it presents itself as a higher end fast food joint but also with the accompanying higher prices.

The service is about a half notch better than self-serve if you dine in, as they do bring your order to your table along with a condiment tray.

If this is what burgers and fries use to be like back then I appreciate the nostalgia.

It's a hamburger joint with dressed-up frills and aspirations to be something that it is not.

Fatburger sports a kind of cool retro 50s-style interior, but when it comes to the food it's like triple O's with worse fries, and that's all I have to say about that.

Peace out homie dawg gees. Foo. :D

Not worth the price for a cafeteria experience.

All this place offers is the same burger with varying numbers of patties. You can get a burger that leaks down your arm, if that's your bag, yet not mine. I felt I had reduced options.

Considering the service was cafeteria at best, I don't know what I was paying $15 for. The burger was tasty and I good enough size, I guess. Fries were nothing special, very Wendy's-esque.

the place looks cool, but maybe it's the overworked staff with no energy to breathe life into this place that kills it, but no pulse existed whatsoever. If I do a "burger chain" place, I prefer Vera's yet that would be under duress.

I can't say stay way, although I don't have any reasons to here....

Nice surprise

Thought it was a fast food joint but instead we walked into a pretty clean half sit down/half take out burger place. Go on Tuesday and the King burger is a decent deal at $5.99. Fries were great (the ones with skin on).

But the main surprise was how attentive the service was. The lady who took our order was very patient with me, as I had many questions being a first time customer. We all thought the burger was better than V's. Good value.

dont normally review burgers but with all the hype lately with Vera's, Moderne, and fatburger We though we'd try them all (over time of course...)
everyone like a burger once in awhile but i must confess anyone with a bbq can make a better burger than any of these places

fatburger despite the stupid name has great burgers, everything fresh, super squeaky clean place, the only complaint is that they could have a better bun, i despise wonder bread and this is what the bun tastes like. A good kaiser bun or specialty bun would make this a killer burger and add only 10cents to the cost.
wife had the chicken salad and it was great as well.

good luck vera and moderne
