The big awning with the imposing letters caught my eye last time around but I went down the street instead, this time I gave it a try.
I took a while to decide but nothing jumped out. I went with the lamb souvlaki, which was at best mediocre. One small skewer of tough, semi-cold lamb chunks buried in a slew of veggies (your choice), including largely cubed cucumber and tomato pieces which made each bite difficult. Really it was basically a vegetable wrap with tzatziki and lamb topping. I ordered some falafel balls on the side, apparently made from scratch, and which tasted a little bland and dry. Not particularly satisfying through and through.
The service is amicable, friendly asian staff though strictly a take out, fast food type joint so they can easily get backed up.
Ordinary, somewhat grungy if not a little sloppy, it parallels what I ate. I didn't see any spits going. Microwaved all the way I suppose. Not authentic as according to their menu.
Sorry, won't be back.
