Great Favor on Valentine's

I had to leave the city on Valentine's for work. I wanted my wife to have a special meal but wasn't sure what to get her. I decided that I could get her take out from Doux Crepes and then she could eat it there if she wanted or take it home. (I didn't think she'd want to sit alone in a restaurant on Valentine's Day) The owner was there when I went in to arrange it and he was very accommodating. I ordered asparagus and mushroom risotto, a french kiss crepe for desert and a latte. She was thrilled and said the meal was excellent. I had the risotto previously and knew that it was amazing. Thanks to Doux Crepes for helping to create a great Valentine's Day for my wife...happy wife, happy life :-)

Doux thumbs up for Doux Crepes!

I live in Yaletown and yet never knew about this place until very recently stumbling upon it. I stopped in for a morning bite to eat and a coffee and was quite pleasantly surprised. I ordered the ham and cheese crepe and was not disappointed, solid comfort food on a weekend morning. Fresh ingredients, speedy service, and most importantly a delicious meal!

I've had better cappucinos, but I did enjoy the laid back atmosphere. The crowd there was very friendly. I think because the restaurant is totally off the beaten path - it seems to be most frequented by local residents. It looks like they are still in progress on some remodelling, but with a little more work this place can only get better!

  • Laura D. : Crepes are decent but omlettes delish. Good Lavazza coffee. Only thing lacking is atmosphere. Always playing tinny pop radio .
