I've been coming to this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant for years - I don't mean any disrespect by calling it a hole-in-the-wall - I love this place. It's small, not much for decor, but all they do is make great chicken shawarmas. As in my other reviews, decor doesn't really matter to me as long as the food is good, and it certainly is here.
The guys are usually friendly and service is good. Often times it's just one guy working, so if it's busy, you may need to wait a few minutes. No big deal.
I always get the chicken shawarma, it's about $7; not cheap, but not overly pricey either. It's fair, especially considering the amount of chicken they put in that thing. The flavour is great, and they make it how you want it. I always get humus on it. they don;t skimp, and you get a lot of food, very filling. Delicious!
I've been coming here for about 8 years now. One of these days I'll try the other menu items, but for now, I definitely recommend the chicken shawarma - it's very tasty and filling. Minimal decor, but good place, good food, decent value.
I had put in capitals, not to Yell as this site said but Excited to let everyone know This is The Best!
So Authentic, the most sauces and selection then any other Falafel, Donair, Shawarma place that exists! I have recommended this location to all my Friends and Family, Dr's, Dentists, etc...lol..YOU TOO! I tell it straight up, you will be 100% satisfied if you need to satisfy that craving, this place has risen the Bar so high for middle eastern food! YUM! Oh and the staff over a decade are simply amazing! Very Humble!
I have been going here for about the past 3 years and i love it! awesome food, great price real fast and just overall a great meal! if you like spicy food i recommend the carribean donair and my boyfriends favourite the chicken plate. thanks donair spot! its great for being healthy as well!
I came here after dropping off some mail at the 7-11. It was a bit of an impulse buy, but definitely satisfied. The place is clean, and I noticed that the server washed his hands before preparing the donair.
It's a nice little quick snack, the place isn't meant to be a 5-star restaurant, but it serves its little niche well. Food is more hearty, they focus on big portions. The server was also very nice. My chicken pita came out to around $8, so not too bad a price, although you can probably get a cheaper pita elsewhere (i.e. Falafel Maison or Babylon Cafe).
Good, clean place where you don't have to worry about getting sick the day after.
