Bad service, cold pizza
By Wheres my za of Vancouver (1 Review)
Submitted Monday, September 5, 2011 - 7:17pm [Delivery]

I ordered delivery at 5:00pm and was told 45 minutes. After an hour and fifteen minutes I tried calling to see what was up and I got an operator (from the phone company) and it said "all operators are currently busy, please wait" and then it hung up. I gave them another half hour (1 hour and 45 mins total) before I called another Dominos to see if the place burnt down, and they said the Denman location takes its phone off the hook when its real busy. I couldn't even call 2 hours after ordering to cancel my order! Well, low and behold the pizza arrives, its the last one in the delivery drivers container and the cheese is hard and pizza cold. The hottest thing about the pizza was the box. I just got back from a super long flight and was super hungry so I paid the driver to the penny.... I should have rejected the pizza. Thanks guys!

Great pizza

So I haven't tried these guys for a long time and after trying the seymour st. store with bad results I was skeptical. However, they have made great improvements both with the staff and with the product. I actually live closer to the seymour street location but apparently I am in Denman's delivery area. I would rather wait for a delivery from Denman than get carryout from Seymour. First I was put on hold, but when they came back they offered me a free side item just for being put on hold. My pizza was just under 40 minutes but three days later I received a letter from the manager for three dollars of my next order. PLUS a new customer package to encourage me to order again. No body does that.

most expensive pizza I've ever bought

Well, getting home late I decided to have pizza... you know what it's like... so instead of calling my favorite places. I try a corporate chain pizza place, the above. Well the service was great but the pizza when it came was so devoid of toppings it was a shock... when you order a "feast " pizza don't you expect a feast... I think the 14 inch pizza might weigh a pound in total and I can see crust between every topping. I've never been able to finish 1/2 a medium pizza from anywhere else... but the whole pizza is gone and I think I still feel hungry....
