Dhaka Fish and Biryani serves Bangladesh and Indian cuisine.
South Fraser St has seen an amazing amount of different food operations open in the past 5 years or so-cafes, restaurants, food stores of many kinds with food from many countries.
Cruising through the 'hood I was intrigued by this place offering Fish dishes from Bangladesh & India so I stopped in.
Ended up having just a Biryani-a bit of a mistake on my part since it's largely a rice dish with some fried fish-a bit of carbo overload for lunch.
Delicious meal though and even though I asked for it spicy it wasn't overwhelmingly 'hot' and had some traces of spices I couldn't quite identify-it was a tad oily so the delicious Chai helped in that regard
Service was outstanding-cheery/friendly/polite and prompt with great followup.
Given all the different items on the menu this would be a great place to try with a group of fish lovers.
