We (as the same threesome) have now enjoyed dim sum at Delicious Chinese Cuisine on five separate occasions - adding four additional dining experiences since that initial visit made and so-enjoyed on March 19. I thought an update was in order. Dining once and enjoying it is one thing, but following up that experience with several more, has afforded us the opportunity to try more dishes, re-try many, assess consistencies of qualities and preparations, and service provided, and all.

All our dining experiences have been morning ones, and only on weekend days -- four on Saturdays, and one on a Sunday -- for each, we have arrived at the restaurant before 9:30 am. I confirmed the hours this time - the restaurant is open for dim sum seven days a week, from 9am - 3pm, and then re-opens for dinner, from 5pm - 10pm, each day of the week, except Tuesday.

We have now tried (and re-tried several) 12 of the 40 lowest-priced offerings ($2.75 per each), and 7 of the 57 more-expensively-priced offerings (priced $3.50 and above) on the dim sum menu -- so a total of 19 different dishes, many of which we have now re-tried a few times.

Of the lowest-priced dishes, we have now tried:
-- steamed crystal prawn dumplings, steamed prawn dumplings w/pea leaves, shrimp with golden corn dumplings, steamed meat & chinese celery rissoles, steamed pork shui mai dumplings, steamed beef meatballs, steamed juicy pork dumplings, crispy pea leaves rolls, steamed rice flour rolls w/prawns & greens, steamed rice flour rolls w/beef & parsley, steamed rice flour rolls w/assorted mushrooms, two kinds of green tea gelatin.

Of the higher-priced dishes, we have now tried:
-- steamed sticky rice wraps w/dried scallops, b.b.q. duck w/rice spaghetti in soup, deep fried squid in peppery salt, pork hock in soy sauce, deep fried tofu w/golden garlic, pan fried rice flour rolls in soy sauce, stir fried beef & greens with flat rice noodles.

In summary -- yum, and consistent. We have been so impressed with how consistent the food preparations and presentations seem to be, and that goes for the good, welcoming, and friendly service as well!! We have not encountered any negative surprises - when we re-try something, it comes to us just as we remembered and enjoyed it from a previous visit - this is of utmost importance to us, and we give the restaurant a solid 5-stars in this regard!!

Our dining charges (including the charges for jasmine tea, and tax), for six to seven dishes, have totalled between $27 - $33. For consistently well-prepared and tasty Chinese dim-sum offerings for these three amigos, we think Delicious Chinese Cuisine delivers, and is a great value restaurant. We love Chinese dim sum, and this restaurant is a winner for us!!
