Late night soft serve fix

Cookie cutter location but their hours are better for those wanting a sweet fix at night; I believe they're open until midnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This location has the soft serve items nailed down. Consistently made blizzards, shakes and not-so-deformed looking dilly and buster bars. My flavour palette still hasn't warmed up to their burgers but they offer lots of choices.

Service is neutral here and doesn't sway to either side. The fast food items take a while as they do make them to order so for those with a little patience, you get something hot off the oil.

They have all the familiar DQ insignias and style cues, but the parking is horrendous. They have a few spaces in the parking lot in the alley, split between pay and free parking. The free spaces are tight so be prepared for door dings. Most people end up parking on the street or temporarily park in the visitor parking down the alley. If you can deal with the parking calamity, everything proceeding is as expected.

Expensive, slow, dirty and rude

Went in to buy some cheeseburgers, because there was a promo going on. Ordered 3 singles and 2 doubles, 3 singles- all with no pickles, and 2 doubles with all the fixins. A blonde lady with a Russian accent, was very impatient with me ordering the burgers, as she had to key in, "no pickles", while there was a long line up. She was incredibly rude, obnoxious, and aggressive- perhaps shes the manager? After she took my order, she went to the kitchen to make my burgers, but SHE DID NOT wash her hands after handling money, and so her dirty hands went to make my burgers. After the burgers, I went to get a chocolate shake and an oreo blizzard for dessert. The chocolate shake had too much milk and not enough ice cream, and it costed about 5 bucks, pretty expensive for what it is. The blizzard was not blended well at all- the oreos stayed at the top of the cup, and the bottom of the cup was just plain soft serve. Pretty expensive for synthetics- the strawberry sauce for sundaes contain red dyes and the other syrups- such as hot fudge, mint, cocoa fudge, all contain synthetic substances such as propylene glycol, and other nasty dyes ( I asked the one of the servers to see the labels). I guess the only topping one should have would be pineapple, since its actual pineapple pieces.

solid fast food joint

First of all, the wait time for burgers are a bit longer than McDonalds, but because they always make them fresh when you order. The burgers taste like real beef, and they are always fresh and juicy. The chicken burgers are exceptionally tasty, and they either fry or grill it right away, and are very flavorful. The onion rings are made out from real onions, and not from some powdered onion "stuff". The soft serve is yummy. If you are in a hurry, the soft serve is always fast, maybe about 1 minute tops from the time you order. The place is nicely lit, and tables are always clean, theres also a cool patio. I would go to this Dairy Queen anytime, and its still worth the wait, because of the fresh, good quality food they serve, compared to most fast-food joints.
