Daikichi focuses on Japanese take out.
This place isn't very big. But this place is very clean. Service is very good. All smiles. Food is very good, the taste is wonderful. I often eat here. I suggest this place to my friends as well. My friends like this place as well. Daikichi doesn't argue about prices. When you want some extra, they give it to you for free. Unlike some places I've been to. I very like this place and the people that work there! :)
This isn't a large place to eat, and definate improvement to their West Van location, if they're related. I wanted to go somewhere quiet, away from all the crowds and have "me" time for lunch.
I found the service friendly, quick and knowledgeable. I ordered dynamite roll, salmon & ebi nigiri and tuna roll. My food arrived, tasted good, my rolls held together and I quite enjoyed the dynamite roll.
When I'm back in the area, I would order there again. Nice day to enjoy a quiet meal.
Below average sushi, hardly fresh tasting and sloppily prepared.
The menu is almost a clean knock-off of Yamato sushi on Davie and Seymour - the 'house rolls' are entirely copied - but everything is of a lesser quality and prepared with less skill.
